Feeling on Achieving

It has been seven days since I started drving my new car. It is an SUV a Toyota Harrier with beautiful registration number WQW 262.

It took a while before I took the possession of the car. First, I've got to wait for the tender result on the number. Then, I have to endure the snags during registration. The Customs Dept erroneously keyed in incorrect engine number resulting in rejection by JPJ. The mistakes happened twice. Couple with the public holidays during the first week of the new year 2008 i.e. the Ist. January and Awal Muharram on 10th January, it dragged on until 15th January before the car was delivered to me.

It's one of the dreams come true. It was one of the goals that I set about five years ago. I have written a goal to own a Toyota Lexus / Harrier around that time. Then I went to book it at Naza World. Even paid the deposit of RM1,500 for the brand new car costing RM310k. However, my loan application was turned down. My deposit was not refunded even though the salesperson it was refundable before that.

The goal lingered on. It materialsedd this time.

So when I drove from the dealership in Klang on that 15th. January it was with one of those great feelings. Feelings of achievement.
